I appreciate the write up as it’s a bit more thought-out than most, but I disagree. Most of these Legend comps are experimental. T1 & T2 teams have been scrimmaging on Olympus recently sometime after ALGS Champs. While Evac Towers can open up some rotation options, they can be especially detrimental to the flow of competitive matches by encouraging unnecessary 3rd partying. Better structured buildings would allow more teams to co-exist & defend more efficiently. The buildings on Olympus are some of the hardest to hold in the entire game. Made up of mostly open areas and fields, adding basic elevation & cover would make a lot more spots playable in endgame scenarios. So what do yall think? I'd like to hear your thoughts & opinions now that rumors are flying around about Olympus joining the comp map rotation soon. We now have Legends who can do effective micro/macro rotates, create instant cover/block LOS, and anchor/pressure better than ever before. Not to mention the Meta itself has evolved and the legend roster has nearly doubled in size & versatility. Today the map holds 21 POIs, the Charge rifle has been reworked, and we now have Evac Towers to further help rotations. Overall, despite the flaws Olympus currently has, it's in a much better position for competitive than it previously was in 2021. ( See Image 5) Fixing Points 1 & 2 will inevitably solve this while weakening power positions that become more oppressive as rings close. On Olympus however, Ring 6 will never end on about 40% of the entire map.

The most important part in a match viewership-wise for comp is the Endgame.

The only solution is to simply make the map bigger in overall size & correctly space out POIs while opening & closing up routes throughout. ( See Image 4) This problem is also amplified by Point 1, and the fact that 50% of the POIs are too close to each other.

Similar to Broken Moon, the map has limited/fixed rotations due to the layout of POIs that eventually leads to major chokepoints in various locations.

( See Image 2) Adding elevation, geographical cover ( Rocks, Crates, Cars etc ) and creating better structured buildings ( See Image 3) would help the map indefinitely in the long run.

The number one complaint I always hear about Olympus is that the layout is too flat & there's no cover.
